Adam and Carly

Adam and Carly had a an amazing wedding day.  Because the ceremony wasn’t until 5pm, we had a photoshoot before they were married.

It was really lovely for them to just have some quiet time together before it all happened.  I met Adam in the park where he was waiting for Carly to arrive…port_douglas_wedding_photographer_smith_blog-1

She looked absolutely stunning, and obviously, Adam thought so too.port-douglas-wedding-photographer-smith001

I just left them alone, being with each other and talking quietly while I stood back and captured the love.port_douglas_wedding_photographer_smith_blog-11

The light is still pretty strong at 4pm but these two are just gorgeous and it didn’t matter at all.port_douglas_wedding_photographer_smith_blog-15

We’d had an engagement shoot a few months ago, because apparently Adam doesn’t like having his photo taken, and it helped him get used to the camera.  It was a great idea because by the time it came to the wedding day, he was so relaxed and easy in front of the camera he was like a professional, and Carly is just stunning.

  1. Hi Ali, beautiful photos of Carly and Adam’s wedding day! We did the hair and makeup for Carly and her mum and I was wondering if it would be possible to get a copy of some of the photos for our website? Many thanks, Abbie
