Every couple I photograph are different, and every wedding is different. Allana & Scott truly are a very special couple, and their wedding reflected that. On a Wednesday, Allana was getting ready for her wedding at a Port Douglas resort which used to be a grove of coconuts. 
The day was perfect.

Allana and Scott had wedding presents for each other
and the boys wandered out to the pool for a while to play with the new camera.
Then it was time to get ready.
Scott had given Allana a mixed tape.

The wedding ceremony was at the Port Douglas Sugar Wharf, late in the afternoon.
Allana arrived with her father…
and Aunty Di held the small intimate ceremony, with a fantastic story of how Scott and Allana’s relationship had developed and grown.
It was a beautiful, moving and funny ceremony.
We had time for a few quick photos before we lost the light,
and for a little time out, before a small family dinner to celebrate.
Then, on Saturday, was a big party and the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal,
with a Mexican theme.
